Our facility offers exceptional quality subcontract precision engineering including Laser Cutting & Profiling, Powder Coating, Welding, CNC Punching, CNC Folding, Assembly Inserting & Stud Welding and Prototype Design. We work with metals including aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel.




Sheet Metal Services offers a wide range of manufacturing outsourcing services including Laser Cutting, Profiling, Powder Coating Finishing, Product Assembly, C.A.D. Services, CNC Punching and Folding, Inserting, Stud Welding, Prototype Design & Development, Welding, and Pre-Treatment.



Laser Cutting & Profiling

We use the latest and most advanced CO2 & Fibre laser machines our networked services can cut up to 4000mm x 2000mm in up to 25mm mild steel, 20mm stainless steel and 12mm Aluminium. Our process has the capability to produce the highest standards required in manufacturing. Our highly experienced engineering team can achieve exceptional cutting detail on a variety of metals including aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel. In our factory we can create complex components from flat sheet metal of the highest quality in the quickest lead times. Structural Tube/Hollow Section profiles can also be cut.


CNC Punching

We specialise in CNC Punching. With Punch machines coupled to auto sheet loaders we can punch 3000x1500mm sheets up to thicknesses of 8mm Mild Steel. Our CNC Machine is a resource-efficient universal puncher with skeleton-free processing. It’s numerous automated solutions enable us to use it in multiple-shift operations, as well as during the night and at weekends. This makes our production is more efficient and lead times quicker.


CNC Folding & Forming

With 4000mm beds and up to 350-ton capacity most profiles and thickness can be achieved. Our press brakes automatically monitor and adjust the bending force across the beam length at 6 points. The control panel technology adjusts and compensates for any potential variation in the raw material thickness. This gives angle consistency and perfection over the full bend length.


Powder Coating

Our Powder Coating is extremely durable and scratch resistant, pliable but hard enough to withstand impact without marking. Our powder is applied in our powder coating booth using automated robotic reciprocators that coat the material with the required amount of micron thickness. The quick electrostatic application gives a high-quality finish, while being much faster than wet paint.


Product Assembly

A critical need in final assembly is the ability to support manufacturing processes and manage growing product variations. We have a facility that can either support your assembly lines or even eliminate the altogether. This can be achieved with no disruption to your plant and can significantly influence your profitability.


C.A.D. Services

Our planning and programming engineers are highly trained and skilled in Spaceclaim software. They use high specification computer systems to enhance efficiency.


Inserting & Stud Welding

We have pemserting machines for self-clinching and inserting, and offer stud welding services which are an excellent alternative to self-clinching products.


Prototype Design & Development

Our highly experienced team of engineers can manufacture metal fabricated prototypes quickly and cost-effectively by utilising comprehensive 3D modelling and CNC manufacturing facilities. We pride ourselves on providing a cost-effective solution to potential new products.


Mig/Tig Welding

We offer Mig and Tig welding to high rating standard and only use approved suppliers for the supply of quality abrasives which guarantees our customers a quality product. Our fabricating department has a wealth of experience in all aspects of finishing products, to each customer’s specification. Sheet Metal Services specialise in working with high-value materials (Stainless steel 316/304 grades, aluminium, copper and brass.)


Resistance Spot Welding

Our resistance spot welding (RSW) is a process in which contacting metal surfaces are joined by the heat obtained from resistance to electric current. Work-pieces are held together under pressure exerted by electrodes. An ideal solution for low cost/high volume products. Offering the minimum amount of setup time and a much-simplified method of sub-assembly parts.
